Locketpad

Locketpad is a free, offline-first encrypted notepad application for Windows.

Designed with privacy at its core, every note you write is encrypted on your device using strong, modern cryptography before being saved locally. No accounts, no cloud sync, no data ever leaves your computer unless you choose to export it.

Locketpad uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption combined with secure key derivation (PBKDF2). This is the same level of protection trusted by banks, governments, and security professionals worldwide — making your notes extremely difficult to access without your master password, even if someone gains physical access to your device.
